About Lola
You only get one life, live it how you choose.
Lola Steel is a storyteller at heart.
Stories, whether in the form of words or images, are her solace. She is happiest when crafting homes for the words that find their way out of her mind.
With a penchant for exploring what makes us tick, her poems, short stories and novels are as varied, and often as dark as, her imagination.
A Femme, who lives openly and abundantly, she is a believer in the adage that we all live many lives in this one. Active in alternative lifestyle pursuits and experiences, she embraces a diversity of interests and a personal expression of living her truth in action.

Her dream of living on an island with goats someday has been partly achieved as she writes from her home on Vancouver Island on the west coast of BC, Canada.
